It’s been a great year for IWC in 2017, with a host of watches making significant cut-through in haute horology circles and continued the notion with a special addition to its Portofino collection – Hand-Wound Tourbillon Retrograde.
The prominent, yet classic-looking, 45mm watch is only available in 18 red gold and is water resistant up to 30 metres. The timepiece is powered by the 59900 caliber, which is visible through the large sapphire crystal display case back. It looks to be quite nicely finished with open-worked bridges, beveled edges, Côtes de Genève, perlage and offers a power reserve of 192 hours.
