Paying continuous tributes to aviation has always been a a major part of Breitling as a watch manufacturer and here we look at a recent reissue of a classic pilot watch known as the Transocean Chronograph Edition.
Using the a star model from 1956 as inspiration, the timepiece uses the classic heritage look to a brilliant contemporary effect, thanks in large parts to its stunning two-tone dial. Vintage refinement is the theme throughout thanks to its date window, twin-zone and embellishment of jewels – which includes the prominent the initial B appearing in 18 karat gold at 12 o’clock. Upon the steel case back lays a sleek double back saved for engraving and protecting the sapphire crystal case. Accentuated with a vintage woven steel bracelet, there will only be 2,000-pieces made which will be numbered..
